About Me:

After completing four years (1969 - 1973) at John Carroll University in Business Marketing, I was introduced to a phenomenal career of Deep Sea Diving as a Commercial Hard-Hat Diver; a career full of great sea stories and great adventures. My true education was just beginning.
My professional career began in 1975 working with Santa Fe Engineering and Construction in their Commercial Diving Division. My Commercial Diving ended in 1983 working for Taylor Diving and Salvage out of New Orleans, Louisiana. These years will provide long embellished stories, which will be shared with generations of grandchildren… as soon as one of my five children gets married. Until then, those deep-sea diver stories have time to mature and build in stature.
I fell in love and came out of the water to marry my wife, Christi. I then began a successful career in Cardiovascular and Critical Care sales as a medical representative covering the State of Florida. In October 1987, we moved to Salt Lake City, with five children, where I continued a career as Vice President of Operations for a manufacturer of liposuction machines for the Plastic Surgery industry.
Several years later, I was offered a position with a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage in Salt Lake City. Within three years I opened the Brokerage; First American Realty Group, L.C. and have been its current Owner/Broker since 1993.
I was one of the early casualties with the Internet (1987); it had me at the first byte. However, it was not until 2005 when I redirected my efforts and branched out as an Internet Entrepreneur, which is now the new Internet Real Estate frontier. These are the information portals we provide, one of which consistently appears on the front page on many of the search engines for the key phrase “Online Security”. We specifically provide online and offline security for the safety of children and their families through several mediums.
I have enjoyed raising our five children, with my wife Christi, for the past twenty years in Salt Lake City, Utah. Little did I know, back in 1973, when I left John Carroll University that my education was only beginning and there is never a graduation date from learning?
The Internet is a dream come true for me, unfortunately, it is also the dream of corrupt individuals worldwide, whose only intentions are to steal from you, be it your personal information, your finances, your hard drive, your bandwidth, or your child’s innocence etc. That is why Bill Wardell and I (David C. Ballard) have collaborated.
